Roman Clay

Roman clay is an eco-friendly, zero-VOC, clay-based plaster/paint hybrid, often used to create a smooth, velvety, low-sheen finish with subtle movement and texture. It is hand-applied using a putty knife or trowel to interior walls to create high-end, mottled, stone- or marble-like appearances. Best suited for interior walls, fireplaces, and accent pieces, bringing a rustic, European look. While sometimes grouped together, Roman Clay differs from Limewash due to its smooth, slightly higher sheen and trowel application compared to the brush-applied, chalky finish of limewash.
